    Start by getting the tools which include the halogen leak detector (J 39400-A) when replacing an Evaporator core. Start by taking out both the Heater Core and then proceed to uninstall the Heater Core case shroud. Find space to remove the bolt which maintains the Evaporator core bracket followed by taking out the Evaporator core. The installation of a new Evaporator core requires adding appropriate refrigerant oil to it properly. Install the Evaporator core followed by attaching the Evaporator core bracket and screws with proper torque at 1 n.m. Install the Heater Core case shroud along with its screws and tighten them to 1 n.m (9 lb in). The last step of the procedure includes Heater Core reinstallation followed by a leakage inspection of the component fittings using the halogen leak detector (J 39400-A).
