Perform vehicle lifting while supporting it before draining the cooling system while lowering it. Detach the low coolant sensor electrical connector while carefully moving the low coolant sensor electrical harness out of its retainer slot. Beginning with hose clamp pliers (J 38185) users should reposition the Coolant Reservoir outlet hose clamp from the Coolant Reservoir before removing the Coolant Reservoir outlet hose. When working with the hose clamp pliers (J 38185) you must reposition the engine vent hose clamp from the Coolant Reservoir before removing the engine vent hose. Use the hose clamp pliers (J 38185) to move the radiator vent hose clamp before removing the radiator vent hose. Begin by removing the Coolant Reservoir mounting bolt from the radiator then extract the Coolant Reservoir. When installing the Coolant Reservoir position it where needed then install the Coolant Reservoir mounting bolt and tighten it to 10 nm (89 inch lbs.). Place the radiator vent hose back onto the Coolant Reservoir while using hose clamp pliers (J 38185) to set the radiator vent hose clamp. Use hose clamp pliers (J 38185) to install the engine vent hose and to reposition the engine vent hose clamp. The Coolant Reservoir outlet hose requires attachment with hose clamp pliers (J 38185) to reset the Coolant Reservoir outlet hose clamp. To finish up connect the low coolant sensor electrical connector to its retainer and fill the cooling system through the radiator Coolant Reservoir then connect the low coolant electrical connector.
