How to service and repair the coolant pipe for the surge tank hose replacement on Chevrolet Classic?

Before replacing the surge tank hose/pipe, make sure to drain the coolant from the cooling system. Loosen the clamp at the surge tank with the j 38185 tool and extract the hose from the surge tank. Afterward, adjust the Radiator hose clamp (5) on the Cylinder Head using the j 38185 and take out the hose (6) from the Cylinder Head. Set the j 38185 at the end of the Radiator hose clamp and unbolt the hose from the Radiator. Connect the surge tank hose (6) to the Radiator and secure it with the Radiator hose clamp (7) using the j 38185 pliers. Connection of the hose (6) to the Cylinder Head is made and the hose clamp (5) is repositioned to the head with the j 38185. The last step is to connect the hose to the surge tank, reposition the clamp (4) on the surge tank using j 38185 and refill the cooling system.
