To repair the valve seal on the right including the name valve support first, you will have to remove the right
Camshafts and the
Starter. Next, install the en 46326 flywheel holder. Clean the
Spark Plug recess area to avoid contamination and take out the Spark Plug from the cylinder. Next, put the base plate of the j 44211 over the Spark Plug hole and inset the j 39313 Spark Plug port adapter in the hole, making sure to maintain constant air pressure in the hole so that the valve does not close. Mount the arm and swivel nut of the j 44211 over the corresponding valve stud, tightening this only enough to reach the valve locks. Take off the valve stem locks with the help of a magnet and loosen the swivel nut and swing the arm away to show off the valve spring retainer and thus the valve spring. Only when a valve stem seal replacement is necessary should its removal take place (Blakemore, 1995). Use the j-38820 valve stem seat to grip the old seal and twist it off. Check, inspect, and measure the valve spring before lubricating the valve stem and the inner diameter of the new seal with a clean engine oil. Put a seal protector over the valve stem and use the j 38820 to install a new value stem seal. Replace the valve spring retainer and valve spring and swing the arm on top of the retainer, tighten the swivel nut of the j 44211 just enough to be able to fit the valve locks. Place the valve locks with the help of a magnet and then, take away the swivel nut and arm of the j 44211. Release the air pressure, take off the j 39313 , as well as the base plate of the j 44211 , and install the Spark Plug. Repeat the removal and installation operations for any other cylinders under service, install the right camshafts, lift and support the vehicle, remove the en 46326 , and finally, install the Starter.
