The procedure for replacing rear side door window regulators begins with lifting the window all the way up and taking out the door trim panel. The following step requires removal of the water deflector followed by taping the window at its highest position. After connecting the door trim panel wire harness connector you should loosen the Window Regulator to window clamp nuts by 4 revolutions. Decrease the Window Regulator with the
Power Window Switch halfway down before unconnecting the power Window Motor electrical connector. Access the rear opening of the door panel to remove the Window Regulator by first removing bolts 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5. First insert the Window Regulator into the door through its rear access hole then install the Window Regulator bolts by tightly fastening each bolt (1, 2, 3, 4, 5) to 9 nm (80 lb in). Put the window through the clamps of the Window Regulator before connecting its power electrical connector. After starting the vehicle to maximize power from the Window Motor consumers should raise the window until it reaches the highest position before securing the clamp nuts at 11 nm (95 lb in). Check the window operation and its tightness after shutting down the vehicle. The last step is to fit the water deflector before slipping in the door trim panel.
