Replacement of the Ignition Lock Cylinder requires the user to firstly disconnect the negative cable from the battery while following battery disconnect caution procedures. Begin by putting the Ignition Switch to start then slide the awl through the lower steering column trim cover access hole to push in the release button. The Ignition Lock Cylinder should be extracted when placing the Ignition Switch at the run position. Position the positioning locking tab slot from the lock module against the positioning tab of the Ignition Lock Cylinder before pushing the lock cylinder forward until the locking tab gets caught in the lock module. Complete the installation by connecting the negative Battery Cable.
