To install a new wiper motor start by taking off the wiper drive system module from its position before removing the wiper crank arm nut from the shaft and the wiper arm from the motor shaft. Twist off the wiper motor screws from the wiper motor before removing it from the wiper module. Position the wiper motor onto the wiper drive system module according to instructions and fasten wiper motor screws by tightening them to 7 N.m (62 lb in). Mount the wiper crank arm onto the wiper motor shaft while applying the wiper crank arm nut. Secure it at 30 N.m (22 lb ft) torque. Lastly replace the wiper drive system module into its proper position.
To replace the wiper motor start by taking off the air inlet grille then the wiper motor crank arm and wiper drive system module. Detach the wiper motor from the wiper drive system module after taking out its screws. Unfasten the water shield and shaft seal from the wiper motor while removing the unit. Begin replacement by putting on the water shield with shaft seal onto the wiper motor and position the wiper motor onto the wiper drive system module while following the Fastener Notice in Service Precautions. Secure the wiper motor screws at 7 N.m with 62 pounds of torque. Put back all parts including the wiper drive system module, the wiper motor crank arm, and the air inlet grille panel.
