Next remove the engine mount strut bolt and nut from this bracket. Next proceed to remove the engine strut while moving back the engine harness bracket. Evaluating the rubber material of the engine mount strut involves checking for both cracks and splitting as well as extreme hardness. Installation begins with mounting the engine mount strut before inserting the engine mount strut bolt through the engine mount strut bracket where the engine harness clip must be installed on the end of the bolt. The engine mount strut nut and bracket bolt should be installed together to maintain a torque level of 48 N.m (36 lb ft). Specifically install the engine mount strut bolt and nut into the bracket of the upper radiator support then tighten them to 48 N.m (36 lb ft).
