    A:
    As the first step to install a new Water Pump for l26 or 3.8l engines you must drain the cooling system. You need to loosen the Water Pump Pulley bolts first to remove its Drive Belt. Unfasten both Water Pump Pulley bolts and detach the pulley from its position. First remove the bolts of Water Pump and relocate the Power Steering Pump. Then take out Water Pump bolts and complete the pump removal with its gasket. Check for damage on the Water Pump contact areas. After placing the new gasket, put in the Water Pump and tighten its bolts to 15 n.m (11 lb ft) and an additional 80 degrees based on readings from the j 45059 angle meter. Move the Power Steering Pump to its slot and fasten its bolts to 34 n.m (25 lb ft). Secure the Water Pump Pulley bolts loosely before putting on the Drive Belt. Conclude by bolting the Water Pump Pulley to 13 n.m with a torque of 115 pound inches then refill the cooling system.
