How to Replace the Shift Linkage Boot on 2010 GMC Sierra 1500?

In order to replace the transmission control lever boot, remove the control lever. Open and detach the retaining screws, unscrew the plastic retaining screws and unscrew the boot assembly. Install the insulator of the control lever, then connect the boot retaining bezel together and fix it, remember to follow the rules of fasteners before re-fitting the control lever.
