The control lever should be removed and then the transmission control lever boot may be replaced. Use your thumb to loosen the bottom end of the boot to reveal and unscrew the fixing screws. Unscrew the plastic retainers and take out the boot part. Install insulator, boot and bezel, and ensure all assembling, according to instructions on fasteners. Lastly, re-connect the control lever.
