How to replace the front lower control arm bushing on 2010 Chevrolet Impala?

Before installing the new front lower Control Arm Bushing start by removing the arm from the vehicle then fix it in a vise. Install the puller bolt with its 1/2 x 20 in standard thread nut. Prepare the bushing removal tools by installing a nut along with j 21474-01 washers and j 21474-01 bearing and j 21474-5 and j 21474-01 puller bolt. After tightening the puller bolt it will remove the bushing before disassembling the j 21474-01 and j 21474-5 components. To install new bushings apply liquid hand soap lubrication then secure a 1/2 x 20 in standard thread nut across the puller bolt. Install the bushing tools beginning with a combination of the nut and j 21474-01 washer together with j 21474-01 bearing followed by j 21474-5 and j 21474-01 puller bolt . When the bushing is in position inside the Control Arm use the puller bolt to achieve proper installation then dismount the j 21474-01 and j 21474-5 before removing the Control Arm from the vise for final installation of the lower Control Arm.
