The first step to replace the flexplate involves removing the driveline support assembly before dividing it from the transmission. The flexplate removal process starts with unscrewing the flexplate bolts from their position on the flexplate spindle before removing the flexplate itself. Place the new flexplate on the flexplate spindle with its converter side side facing the transmission Torque Converter. The flexplate spindle bolts should be installed to their corresponding receiving slot and tightened to 50 nm (37 lb ft). Install the driveline support assembly first to the transmission and then to the vehicle.
