How to replace the lower control arm on 2009 Cadillac CTS?

To replace the lower Control Arm then, first, lift and support the vehicle. Take the tire and wheel off, and remove the lower Control Arm Bolt to the knuckle. Then pull out the rear coil spring from the lower Control Arm, then the lower Control Arm retaining nut, and finally the lower Control Arm mounting bolt. Finally, pull off the lower Control Arm from the vehicle. During installation, place the lower Control Arm in the frame properly loose for alignment of suspension parts subsequently tightening to final torque specifications. Mount the lower Control Arm to frame mounting bolt and nut, and tighten to 165 nm (122 lb ft). Reinstall the rear coil spring, and then install the lower Control Arm Bolt in the knuckle and torque it to 160nm(118lb ft). Reconnect the tire and the wheel assembly, take off the support, and drop the vehicle. Finish the process by line up the rear suspension.
