Begin by removing the torque converter cover. Start by removing the bat terminal nut from the motor Starter solenoid before taking off the engine harness terminal then the positive cable on the battery. First disconnect the electrical connector from the Starter motor then remove the transmission brace. First remove the Starter from the vehicle by taking off its bolts. Start by placing the Starter motor onto the engine so you can bolt it into position then tighten the bolts to 43 nm (32 lb ft). The installation process begins with reattaching the transmission brace while reconnecting the Starter motor electrical connector and securing the engine harness terminal and positive Battery Cable terminal to the Starter. Make sure to align the positive Battery Cable terminal anti-rotation feature properly. Fasten the Starter solenoid bat terminal nut to 10 nm (89 lb in) torque setting before reinstalling the torque converter covers. Afterward, connect the negative Battery Cable.
