Removing the surge tank and disconnection of negative battery cable are necessary to replace the positive battery cable. Take the positive battery cable, loosen it and separate it, and then remove a number of retainers and clips. Deassemble the Junction block solenoid cable and cover. Install a new cable, connect and reconnect, and install. Lastly, repeat the negative battery cable and replace the surge tank.
