The first step to replace a heated Oxygen Sensor for bank 2 sensor 2 is to elevate the vehicle. Disconnect the electrical connector of bank 2 Oxygen Sensor 2 from engine wiring harness. First disconnect both leads from bank 2, Oxygen Sensor 2, then extract the component from the Catalytic Converter. For installing the new sensor apply anti-seize compound p/n 5613695 to the threads because the compound contains graphite and glass beads which improve the future removal process. Place the bank 2, Oxygen Sensor 2 inside the Catalytic Converter using appropriate torque of 41 n.m (30 lb ft). The bank 2, Oxygen Sensor 2 electrical connector should be reattached to the engine wiring harness before lowering the vehicle.
