How to replace the air conditioning evaporator core on 2008 Cadillac XLR?

In order to change the air conditioning evaporator core, collect the tools required and take off the HVAC module. Loose several parts, take off the heater cover and core and unscrew the upper and bottom cases to reach the evaporator core. Apply PAG oil and replace new seals, and reconnect HVAC module. Fully reconnect all wiring and complete by plugging again the module.
