Start by raising and supporting your vehicle before replacing the Vehicle Speed Sensor on the 4T65-E Automatic Transaxle. Separate the electrical cable from the vehicle speed sensor before unscrewing its bolt and taking out the unit. Check the O-ring for damage and order a new one if it is not serviceable. Place the vehicle speed sensor in position then install its retaining bolt and tighten it to 12 N.m (106 lb in). After fitting the sensor connect its electrical cable and return the vehicle to ground position.
