How to replace the Vehicle Speed Sensor on a 4T65-E Automatic Transmission on 2009 Buick Lucerne?

Before working on the 4T65-E Automatic Transmission raise the vehicle and add safe support systems. Before you work on the vehicle speed sensor remove its electrical connection first. Next unfasten the retain bolt to take out the sensor. Check the O-ring condition and order a new one when necessary. Fasten the vehicle speed sensor into place while tightening the bolt to 12 Nm (106 lb in). Install the electrical connection onto the sensor afterward placing the vehicle back on the ground.
