How to replace the water pump on 2007 GMC Acadia?

In order to change the water pump, empty the cooling system, and take out the drive belt. Install the EN 46104 Water Pump Pulley Holding Tool and detach the pulley bolts and the water pump. Wipe the sealing surfaces, attach a new seal and pump water, screwing the bolts. Install the drive belt again and fill up the cooling system.
