In order to service and repair a suspension strut, one will need to take it off the vehicle and assemble it in the Strut Spring Compressor. A coil spring Compression: compress the coil spring followed by the removal of the upper strut mount and coil spring. Install the coil spring and upper strut mount and re-fit the strut into the car.
