  A: Before you can replace the rear bumper fascia, take off the rear wheels. Then pull out the screws and mud guards followed by screws and splash shields. The screws you can find in the back of the fascia, nuts in the back of the rear bumper energy absorber, and bolts in the luggage compartment. Lastly, it is time to remove rear upper fascia screws and slide off the fascia. To install, start with the rear upper fascia screws securing the fascia and tighten it to 1.5 N.m (13 lb in). Then install the bolts in the luggage compartment and tighten the bolt to 4 N.m (35 lb in). Next, install nuts behind rear bumper energy absorber and tighten them to 24 N.m (18 lb ft). Follow this with the installation of the screws behind the fascia, with an additional tightening to 1.5 N.m (13 lb in), and then the installation of the splash shields with the screws, also with a tightening of 1.5 N.m (13 lb in). Lastly, fix the mud guards with screws using 1.5 N.m (13 lb in) tightening and fix the rear wheels.
