How to replace the Windshield Washer Pump on 2007 Cadillac SRX?

The first step to replace the Windshield Washer Pump consists of taking away the lower air deflector and passenger side front wheelhouse liner. Transfer the washer solvent into a safe storage unit and disconnect both washer hose fittings as well as the electrical connector from the pump. Take out the washer pump unit from its housing tank. Apply washer solvent on the pump intake nozzle before placing it into the washer container. Attach the washer pump securely to the container making sure it stays put. Attach the electrical connection and hose to the pump and put back the passenger wheel liner and lower air deflector. To complete the job open the hood and add fresh washer solvent to the tank before testing if the pump works correctly and sealing the hood.
