Initially disconnect the transmission fluid pan and filter before replacing the output speed sensor. Remove the output speed sensor bolt followed by the output speed sensor and its spacer by disconnecting the electrical wiring harness connector from the output speed sensor. Check the output speed sensor for any magnet damage or housing damage or electrical terminal malfunctions. Installation starts with the output speed sensor spacer followed by the installation of the output speed sensor . Secure the output speed sensor bolt with 11 n.m (97 lb in) of torque force. Bring the electrical wiring harness connector to the output speed sensor before you install both the transmission fluid pan and filter.
