  A: Replacement of the rear sunroof window cable assembly starts by removing the rear vent window combined with the center window panel and the rear sunshade assembly. Either the right or left rear sunroof track requires screw removal to disconnect the drive tube retainer from its track position. Lower the track into the passenger compartment while carefully extracting the rear vent window cam assembly (3, 6) from its track position followed by removing the rear vent window cable assembly from its track. To install the rear window track use the bullet end of the cable assembly to push towards the opening until it goes beyond. Push the drive tube cable so its cam assembly lines up with the opposing cam within the track structure. Fitting begins by inserting the drive tube retainer onto the rear track while setting the cable assembly cam pin to the cam block on the lower sunroof frame. Place the track against the lower sunroof frame before installing the rear track assembly screws loosely. Prior to screw tightening measure the track width to confirm parallel alignment before securing the drive tube retainers with screws adjusted to 5 n.m torque (44 lb in force).
