  A: Start by unfolding the sunshade to its maximum position before removing the front sunroof window and the center window panel. Begin the process by removing three parts from the front side of the track assembly including the front sunshade motor/actuator and sunshade stop set-screw. Start by unscrewing the sunshade links on their respective barrel and free them from the cable barrel before removing the links from the sunshade channel . The sunshade maintains tension at all times during sunshade link removal. A flat-bladed tool should be pressed against the barrel top to move the cable forward until the barrel emerges from the front track assembly. This allows you to detach the cable from the front track assembly of the sunroof window. Mount the bullet tip end of the sunshade cable to the front U-channel of the track assembly and push it until the barrel reaches 25 mm (1 in) from the U-channel's end. Use a flat-bladed tool to move the cable through its channel until the barrel reaches a position 32 mm (1.25 in) behind the rear sunroof track end.
