How to replace the front suspension sway bar link on 2007 Cadillac CTS?

The first step to replace the front suspension sway bar link is to raise the vehicle and support it while removing the tire and wheel. Remove the sway bar link by disconnecting the ABS sensor wiring harness on its path to the link followed by removing retaining nuts and link itself. Apply threadlocker 242 or equivalent to the threads before installing the new sway bar link along with its retaining nuts which need to be tightened to 50 N.m (37 lb ft). After wiring the ABS sensor harness back to the link of the sway bar you should reinstall the tire and wheel then lower your vehicle. During assembly and disassembly operations keep the ball stud stationary through use of hand tools because air tools might damage the ball stud plus stud mounting hole.
