How to replace the front center console on 2007 Cadillac CTS?

In order to replace the front floor console, you will have to pull off the shifter trim cover and disconnect the electrical connector from it. Next remove the console side trim panels and then remove the 6 screws that hold console to the floor before pulling the console out of the vehicle. For installation, place the console on the floor and install the screws to fix it and made tighten the fasteners to 25 N.m (18 lb ft). The next step would be the reinstallation of the console side trim panels and the connection of the shift indicator lamp electrical connector as well as the installation of the shifter trim cover.
