Start by disconnecting the left stabilizer shaft links which attach to the left lower Control Arm and remove the left Tie Rod End from the left Steering Knuckle as well as the left lower Ball Joint from this same component. Route the left wheel drive shaft through the left Steering Knuckle and strut then fasten it in position. Centers around the transmission extraction of wheel drive shaft oil seal using the slide hammer (J 6125-B) attached to slide hammer adapter (J 6125-1B), universal seal remover (J 23129). Installation begins with applying lightweight transaxle fluid to the seal lip followed by setting the new seal (409) under the axle seal protector (J 37292-B) before using the sprocket bearing installer (J 34115) to install the new seal.
