How to replace the Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) Bank 2 Sensor 1 on 2006 GMC Sierra 3500?

To change the Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) Bank 2 Sensor 1, first lift and support the vehicle properly. De-attach the connector position assurance (CPA) and the HO2S electric connector and un-install the HO2S. In the installation of this sensor, on the threads of it that are being installed, it is evidenced that a special anti-seize compound made of liquid graphite and another of glass beads should be implemented. This compound is pre-applied on new or service replacement sensors. In case of reinstallation of old sensor, coat the threads with anti-seize compound GM P/N 12377953 or equivalent. Put in the HO2S and tighten it to 42 N.m (31 lb ft). Redo the HO2S electrical connector and the CPA retainer and let the vehicle loose.
