How to replace the Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) Bank 2 Sensor 2 on GMC Sierra 3500?

In order to replace the Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) Bank 2 Sensor 2, first lift and adequately elevate the vehicle. Remove the connector position assurance (CPA) retainer and the HO2S electrical connector, disconnecting the HO2S. When installing the old sensor back, apply anti-seize compound GM P/N 12377953 or equivalent on the threads because a special anti-seize (liquid graphite and glass beads) is applied to the HO2S threads to make future removal easier. Installation of the HO2S: Tighten it to 42 N.m (31 lb ft) Connect the HO2S electrical connector and the CPA retainer, lowering the vehicle.
