The sensor needs a centering pin installed before removal from the Steering Shaft to maintain the sensor's alignment position or else you will need to discard it. Perform the following steps to replace the sensor: begin by taking out the intermediate shaft from the Steering Column shaft and use a suitable tool to detach the connector by pulling it down around the right side of the Steering Column for better access.
