You need to follow the Restraint System Service Precautions before attempting to detach or install the Power Seat Motor. Before starting disassemble the front seat while you disconnect the cables of the adjuster motor from its apparatus. After disconnecting electrical connectors the driver must remove fasteners from the seat adjuster motor and finally extract the motor unit. After positioning the seat adjuster motor correctly you should tighten its fastener to 3 N.m (26.5 lb in). Connect the electrical connectors while guiding the adjuster motor cables into the their respective positions. Both tracks must be tested for correct operation after reinstallation of the front seat.
