How to replace the outer rack and pinion tie rod end on 2006 Cadillac SRX?

In order to change the outer rack and pinion tie rod end, lift and hold the vehicle. Take off the tire, unscrew the outer tie rod jam nut and remove the outer tie rod out of the steering knuckle. Fit the outer tie rod and attach it to the steering knuckle, and re-fit the tire.
