How to replace the Engine Control Module (ECM) on 2006 Cadillac DTS?

To change Engine Control Module (ECM) first note the engine oil and transaxle fluid life percentages. Removal of air cleaner housing, disconnection of negative battery cable and other connectors. Check debris and damage and then install the new ECM. Install parts back in their place and reconnect the battery and program the PCM.
