Lift off the multifunction switch assembly by removing its 2 panhead screws and 2 connectors that attach to the turn signal assembly. Placing the electrical contact onto the turn signal cancel cam assembly is essential during new turn signal and switch assembly installation. Clamp the assembly at the top of the column using 3 Nm (27 inch lbs.) force and at the front using 7 Nm (62 inch lbs.) torque with pan head tapping screws.
