The replacement process begins with removing the generator bracket coolant inlet pipe lower bolt before proceeding to take out the drive belt tensioner and generator bracket bolts. After component removal you can remove the generator bracket from its position. Starting with placement of the generator bracket into its proper location you should then fasten it with generator bracket bolts. Secure the generator bracket bolts using a torque of 50 n.m (37 lb in) before proceeding to tighten the same bolts to 50 n.m (37 lb in) and finish with the bracket bolt torque of 23 n.m (17 lb in). Fasten the belt tensioner and then install the generator bracket while applying torque to the coolant inlet pipe lower bolt before putting the generator into its proper location.
