Ensure no striking or startling the sensor, and secure it in place before power can be applied to avoid sir deployment or personal harm. Start with removing the grille and the retainers that hold the upper front Bumper fascia to the radiator support. To give the fascia access to the sensor bolts - pull the fascia to access the sensor bolts - remove the orange connector position assurance (CPA) from the yellow sensor harness connector and remove the harness connector of the sensor from the connector. Resuming the sensor nuts and remove the sensor from the top radiator core support. For installation: in preparation, manufacturer recommends to clean up the mounting surface for any contaminants; the sensor harness connector should be connected to the sensor and the orange cpa is to be installed into the yellow sensor harness connector. Mount the sensor to the upper radiator core support and ensure that the arrow on the sensor is facing the front of the vehicle and tighten the sensor bolts to 9 n.m (80 lb in). Secure the fascia to the radiator support, reinstall the retainers for the upper front Bumper fascia, install the grille at the end of installing, enable the sir system.
