How to replace the front air bag sensor on 2005 Buick Rendezvous?

When installing the inflatable restraint front end sensor, disable the sir system first. Do not shock or jolt the sensor and only attach it securely before applying power to avoid deployment or injuries. Start by removing the grille and the retainers for upper front Bumper fascia to the radiator support. Pull the fascia away to access the sensor bolts, then remove the orange connector position assurance (CPA) from the yellow sensor harness connector and remove the harness connector from the sensor. Next, unbolt the sensor bolts and remove the sensor from the upper radiator core support. For mounting, clean the mounting surface, connect the sensor harness connector to the sensor and install orange cpa in the yellow sensor harness connector. Mount it on the upper radiator core support with the arrow on the sensor facing the forward of the vehicle and tighten the bolts to 9 n.m (80 lb in). After assuring the fascia to the radiator support and re-installing the retainers and the grille, activate the sir system.
