The first step to replace the flexplate starts with removing the driveline support assembly to separate it from the transmission. Start by removing the bolts which attach the flexplate to the flexplate spindle before extraction of the flexplate. After position the flexplate on the flexplate spindle so the converter side mark faces the transmission Torque Converter. Connect the flexplate to the flexplate spindle by bolt installation with correct torque set to 50 nm (37 ft. Lbs.). Reposition the driveline support assembly both to the transmission and to the vehicle before final assembly.
