  A: The replacement procedure for underhood electrical center or junction block begins by disconnecting the negative Battery Cable. First separate the electrical cover of the center and its negative cable fastener. First disconnect the electrical connector then remove the fasteners which secure the electrical center board. Unlock all electrical center board tabs before lifting the board upward until you can pull the harness at locking tabs for removal. The electrical center must be detached from the vehicle through the removal of fasteners (1) and (2). Follow these steps to support the electrical center onto the vehicle frame using fasteners (1, 2) which need to be tightened to 10 n.m (86 lb in). Secure the electrical center board with fasteners while tightening them to 7 n.m (62 lb in). At the same time install the harness at its locking tabs. The fastener of the negative cable needs reinstallation onto the electrical center using a torque of 15 n.m (11 lb ft) before installing the electrical center cover and Battery Cable restoration.
