How to replace the Windshield Washer Pump on 2005 Cadillac CTS?

Lower the air deflector and drain the washer fluid to a safe container to replace a windshield washer pump. Unplug the electrical connector and remove the washer hose from the washer pump before taking out the pump from the washer solvent container. Apply washer solvent to the washer pump intake nozzle before you insert it into the washer container and properly install the washer pump unit. Reattach the washer pump electrical cable and hose to the pump parts while reinstalling the lower air deflector before opening the hood. Before proceeding insert new washer solvent into the container turn on the pump and seal the hood.
