Start by removing the rear mounting bolts that attach the front steering gear crossmember and the bolts holding the rear steering gear crossmember in place. Pull out the rear steering gear crossmember from your vehicle. Screw the rear steering gear crossmember into position before you install the mounting bolts which must be tightened to 50 N.m (37 lb ft). After raising and supporting the vehicle fit and torque the rear mounting bolts of the front steering gear crossmember to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).
