How to replace the Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) 2 on 2004 Chevrolet Monte Carlo?

Do these things by first raising and supporting the vehicle. Remove the electrical connector of HO2S 2. It is necessary to remove HO2S 2 using Heated Oxygen Sensor Wrench (J 39194-B). Be careful with it since one might find it difficult to remove if the temperature of the engine is below 48°C (120°F) to cause the thread in the exhaust pipe to be damaged. When installing the new or service sensor it should be noted the threads are coated with anti-seize compound GM P/N 12377953, or equivalent, if needed, since this compound is graphite and glass beads that help to remove in the future. Install the HO2S 2 and use Heated Oxygen Sensor Wrench (J 39194-B) to tighten it to 41 N.m (30 lb ft). Finally, reconnect the HO2S 2 electrical connector, and bring the vehicle down.
