How to replace the rear brake line on 2004 Chevrolet Malibu?

To change the rear brake hose, lift and support your vehicle and also remove the rear tire and wheel assembly. Remove all dirt and foreign material from brake hose ends and brake pipe fitting. Use flare nut wrench on the brake pipe fitting and a back up wrench on the brake hose to remove brake hose retainer, then rear brake hose banjo bolt from the brake caliper, and then unplug the brake hose from the brake caliper. Throw the two copper brake hose gaskets away as they might be stuck to the brake caliper or to the end of the brake hose, and fitted or plugged the brake caliper and brake hose openings to prevent fluid loosing and contamination. For installation, it is recommended to use new copper brake hose gaskets. Pull the caps or plugs out of the openings and then, attach the 2 new copper gaskets, the brake hose, and the brake hose banjo bolt onto the brake caliper and tighten to 50 nm (37 ft. Lbs.) the banjo bolt. Remove the caps or plugs from the ends and brake pipe fitting end or brake hose fittings and install the brake hose to the brake hose body bracket and secure the brake hose retainer over the anti-rotation tabs of the brake hose. Attach the brake pipe fitting to the brake hose and apply a back up wrench to the brake hose to bring the brake pipe fitting to 20 nm (15 ft. Lbs.), tighten threaded segmentadalafil. Make sure the hose does not touch any aspect of the suspension; if it does, pull out the hose and fix the state of things. Bleed the hydraulic-brake system then, fit the tire and wheel assembly then drop the vehicle.
