How to replace the rear wheel bearing/hub on 2004 Chevrolet Malibu?

Raising and supporting your vehicle allows you to remove the tire wheel assembly brake rotor subsequently the Wheel Bearing/hub assembly. If the vehicle has abs remove its Wheel Speed Sensor connector first. Then take out the stabilizer link bolt at the knuckle and position it aside to access Wheel Bearing/hub bolts. Unscrew and remove 4 Wheel Bearing/hub assembly nuts before taking out the Wheel Bearing/hub assembly from the knuckle. Put the Wheel Bearing/hub assembly onto the knuckle and fit the four Wheel Bearing/hub assembly nuts at 63 nm (47 ft. Lbs.). Put back the stabilizer link parts into their proper spots on the knuckle and connect the electrical Wheel Speed Sensor to its electrical socket when abs features are present. Reposition the brake rotor and attach the wheel and tire then release the vehicle to check the rear wheel alignment.
