How to replace the upper ball joint on a 4WD on 2004 Chevrolet Colorado?

To do upper ball joint replacement on a 4-wheel drive vehicle, jack up the vehicle, remove the tire, and disconnect the front brake hose. Take out the wheel speed sensor bracket bolt, disconnect the upper control arm and use separator to disconnect ball joint. Replace ball joint, reassemble units and check wheel alignment.
