How to Replace an Air Bag Sensor in the Front End on 2003 GMC Sonoma?

SIR system must be turned off before the front end discriminating sensor is replaced with an inflatable restraint. Do not hit the sensor and make sure it is fastened beforehand before power application. Disconnect the connector, drill the mounting rivets and mount the new sensor. Wipe mounting surface and attach sensor and reconnect harness and enable the SIR system.
