How to service the Intake Manifold Temperature Sensor on 2003 GMC Sonoma?

To service the intake manifold temperature (IMT) sensor, remove the negative Battery Cable and pay attention to the contribution of the battery disconnect caution. Next, unplug the imt sensor harness and try to remove the imt sensor by grasping it and pulling it straight out with a rotating action. During installation, gently install the imt sensor into the air cleaner outlet duct until it is fully installed, then connect the imt sensor harness connector and finally connect the negative Battery Cable.
